DIFFERENCES BETWEEN WESTERN AND CHINESE MEDICAL SCIENCE

I have already mentioned that the lack of side effects of Tian Xian as revealed by research differentiates it from western anti-cancer therapies (the present status of cancer treatment in western medical science will be discussed fully in Chapter 8.) Irradiation treatment undoubtedly has an important role to play in anti-cancer therapy. Frankly speaking, however, the curative effects of this treatment can hardly be justified by the suffering it causes. Its effects are so serious that it causes harm to the cells surrounding the cancerous tumor and hinders blood flow. In this respect, Tian Xian Liquid has no side effects. It can rise immunologic function and make the cancer cells disappear; it diminishes and relieves symptoms specific to cancer. Compared to western methods, its effects are much more obvious. Moreover, it enhances the effects of western medical treatment.

One of the most impressive indications is shown by the clinical data to be described in the next chapter. When Tian Xian Liquid is used in combination with radiotherapy, the amount of radiation administered may be reduced. There is at present no single perfect and ideal treatment for cancer. I believe, though, that Tian Xian Liquid comes closest to the ideal. The devil of the century – cancer – first appeared as early as 3,500 years ago. It is difficult to imagine the fierce struggle mankind has waged against cancer throughout history. This struggle will continue from generation to generation. Mankind, medical science and I, myself, like a warrior with a sword in my right hand, will continue to fight against cancer until it is extinguished, unless my hatred for this disease vanishes or my life cut short.
