LARGE SCALE CLINICAL TRIALSIn 1986, Tian Xian pills were listed as one of the research items in the Scientific Research Development Scheme of Jilin Province. I was only 32 years old at the time. In the meantime, the effects of Tian Xian pills were recognized by the government, which granted a permit for the sale of the new medicine. In the past, I had to invest large amounts of private funds and obtain loans for research and development. By 1986 I did not have to worry about money. To me it seemed like being given a dose of a heart stabilizer. I set up a signboard that read "Changbaishan Tong Hua Anti-cancer Institute of Medicine" and began my career in specialized research and development. The clinical test conducted within China as mentioned earlier covered a total of sixteen medical organizations and involved 807 clinical cases, beginning in 1984 at the Tianjin Medical Research Institute and continuing till 1988. The curative effects noted in these tests will be discussed in detail later. The overall cure rate of Tian Xian pills was 80.2%. Furthermore, in tests conducted at the U.S. National Cancer Institute beginning in 1988 and spanning three years, Tian Xian Liquid (the final form of Tian Xian pills) was proven to have 80.4% effectiveness against ten forms of cancer involving 48 species of cancer cells. These results rapidly drew attention to Tian Xian pills. In 1988, the Chinese government recognized Tian Xian liquid as an effective form of anti-cancer Chinese prescription. In 1990, the State Chairman, Mr. Jiang Zemin, honored my research center –the Changbaishan Tong Hua Anti-cancer Institute of Medicine – with a visit. |
